Our very popular and enjoyable mixed social competition caters for all levels of ability. Teams consist of 4 to 6 players (4 players playing each week), two males and two females, with all players playing three sets of doubles.
Seasons are around 10 weeks in length and there are two courts allocated for all matches (when available) so there is little or no time waiting around. Finals are played and winners receive a prize.
Full team, part team or individual enrolments are welcome!

Social tennis is certainly one of the most popular activities down at the Westside Tennis Club. It’s fun, friendly and a bargain! What better way to spend your time then to hit a tennis ball along with other tennis lovers. You can attend every week or occasionally – no booking required. This option is ideal if you are returning to tennis after an extended break, have been a regular Comp player or are just looking for some social sport. It is also a great way to improve match-play before joining competitions.
PLEASE NOTE: The Social Groups that play at Westside are not organised by the Westside Tennis Club. These groups have grown over the years by individuals to form the groups we see playing each week. There is no charge by the club to members of the club to play in these Social Groups but each group may have different arrangements in place to cove the cost of balls etc.
